  1. In my opinion, people should not be divided into such relative groups at all. A person is a being who, if he wants to, can learn anything. The main thing is to find something that will motivate you to study a particular field.

There are no humanities or techies, there are people who don't want to develop certain skills.

PS: I have a friend who writes amazing stories and articles, but this does not prevent her from solving problems in physics and geometry with a high score.

  2. Remember Mikhail Vasilyevich Lomonosov, who was a physicist, chemist, astronomer, philologist, historian, writer, metallurgist, and so on and so forth. Anything is possible, you just need a desire and hard work)

  3. Chemist and composer Alexander Porfiryevich Borodin, physicist and poet Dmitry Antonovich Sukharev, oceanographer and bard Alexander Moiseevich Gorodnitsky together answer ” Yes!”

  4. Yes, if you mean proficiency in both exact and liberal arts.

I like mathematics and software engineering from the exact ones, but almost everything in the humanities-history, linguistics, sociology, languages, and cultural studies. I won't say that I know a lot of things, but it's equally interesting for me to study them – I work in programming, and I really like it.

To be honest, I think that this division is incredibly conditional and feeds itself (that is, people “reject” themselves in a number of ways in advance, after which it also helps further segregation), so I refer to the category of very harmful stereotypes. Also, do not forget that a huge number of areas involve a bizarre interweaving of all kinds of sciences, and to limit yourself to only one manifestation means to narrow your horizons. Go ahead and believe in yourself!

  5. Depends on what you mean by that. Among my “techies” friends, there are a huge number of people who are fond of completely “humanitarian” things: drawing, writing music, poetry, and prose. And quite successfully.

If that's the question , then yes, of course you can.
