First of all, you need to make a plan or divide the text into several independent parts. Let's say you have 7 separate chapters. Great, now briefly highlight the topic and idea of each one (what is discussed in the chapter and what the author wants to convey) and based on this, name the items so that they reflect both your own idea and the topic as much as possible. To remember the order, use the mnemonic technique-the Cicero method. Create associations between chapter names and, for example, 7 places on your standard route (from home to work or school, for example). Next, you should draw a Mind Map of each item or a tree-like diagram system that will help you navigate the sub-items of each of your chapters (there should be no more than 8 sub-items, so as not to complicate memorization). The title of the chapter will be located in the center of the drawing, and arrows will move away from it to the main sub-items (clockwise, so as not to get confused in the order). The most difficult thing is to isolate the main sub-items in the chapters, here you will either have to cram, or ideally understand the logical structure of the chapter (from which the author starts and what he comes to). Add drawings, anything that comes to mind.

It doesn't sound as complicated as it sounds. Go for it:)
