    Obviously not. The Greeks didn't know any special words for it. Any skill that led to an understanding of general patterns, they called-techne.

    Tech is both medicine, and the masterly skill of a strategist, and the skill of a geometer, and poetry that takes for the soul. Therefore, we can even say that in Ancient Greece there is still no science, there is only art and skill in some areas (like geometry).
