  1. I'm also an old man, almost in my 50s. But I like it) I told you about the taste and color) Although as my Commander said in 64 “And I do not consider myself elderly” The soul does not age;- ) Good luck and recognition!

  2. Post samples of your creativity. Let's find out why they hate him;) Salvador Dali is also disliked by many, as is Vereshchagin. If the creations are worthy, then they need to be admired. However, do not forget that the taste and color…..Terrible monsters can be beautiful, but ugliness has its own unique beauty

  3. It is absurd to ask what the purpose of your work is, because it is something that defies logic and calculation. This is what comes from the inside, reflecting what the artist sees from the outside.

You have such a look. Before you answer your own question – why do they hate you? – try to talk to yourself. Explain to yourself what motivates you to join this genre. What do you mean by this? The artist expresses himself. And although he does this for himself, at the same time he expects at least understanding.

Perhaps your mission is precisely to show the negative, so that the person, sorry, threw up. So that he doesn't have to dig into it himself. You showed him what it is. About 10 years ago, I was in the city of Figueres in Spain at the Salvador Dali Theater-Museum. In less than 20 minutes, I felt sick. I began to feel queasy, my pulse quickened, and my head started to go slightly. It is good that I am familiar with such attacks and immediately went out into the fresh air. After 15 minutes, I recovered. This is the kind of negative energy attack I experienced from Dali's work.

  4. Hate is generally a very strong feeling, and you should not have added it here. No matter how people respond to your drawings, they will look at them for no more than a minute, “fuck off” with their opinion, and go on to live their lives in peace, there is no smell of hatred here, people just like to criticize.

In addition, someone will probably like your work, especially if it is really as unusual as you say-everything unique is valuable. Don't listen to those who criticize you unnecessarily, don't get into arguments with them, and try not to take it so personally.

Try posting pictures, thematic posts, or instagrams somewhere, and someone will definitely like them. Listen only to reasonable criticism and improve your skills.

    Good luck

  5. Hello young man. I used to draw when I was your age, too. I didn't finish my drawing. And he liked to draw monsters. I had a friend who graduated from art school but Dahl didn't go. But from our desks at school, then in the gym that we made ourselves in the basement, we painted all the walls with monsters and unreal jocks. It was the beginning of the 90's, we were asked by guys and even men to draw them in the garage or somewhere else these monsters. Even the driving teacher brought paper after class and asked me to draw it. But of course, not everyone was thrilled. Most of the time, just like you and your friend didn't like it. But why? People react this way no longer to you personally, but to what you have drawn. Because in their imagination it is associated with something bad, and unnatural. And somewhere they are right, and for certain reasons I no longer draw on this topic. Just as the thorns of beautiful roses in your hands can cause pain, so the talented hands of an artist can draw something that will cause unpleasant sensations in others. However, there is someone who showed similar drawings with scary images of animals and monsters to the prophets of God. Who do you think it is? Yes, as it is not strange it was God Himself. Here for example are some of the works that the Apostle John saw in a vision:

“And I stood on the sand of the sea, and saw a beast come up out of the sea with seven heads and ten horns: on his horns were ten diadems, and on his heads were blasphemous names.”

Here is a different vision and image:

“In those days men will seek death, but they will not find it; they will wish to die, but death will flee from them.In their appearance, the locusts were like horses prepared for war; and on their heads were crowns like gold, and their faces were like the faces of men; And their hair was like the hair of women, and their teeth were like lions; They had armor like armor of iron, and the sound of their wings was like the sound of chariots when many horses run to war; They had tails like scorpions, and to harm people for five months.” (Revelation 9:6-10)

Here are the drawings! Yes? But if all these images have certain meanings for our time, then they are not just scary, but also useful to understand their meaning, because they affect our lives. What do these prophetic visions mean for our time? This is a slightly different topic, if you wish, you can discuss it. 🤷‍♂️

  6. I think this is a very harsh word – hate,

for example, I am also an artist and some other people's works are not clear to me, they seem unnecessarily cruel or vulgar

for me fine art is the beauty and grace of the author's handwriting

I'd love to take a look at a couple of your works, if you want to show them to other people than those who underestimate them.

But I must warn you – I will be obliged to help you and show you what scares your audience in your works

I also think that art is definitely the author's business first and foremost, and your independence in judging is commendable, but if you found a little space to correct that cruelty or frankness, then people might have liked your drawings, and this gives some inspiration and more pleasure )

I apologize for not answering the question properly

  7. We can guess a lot, but it will be much more accurate in the answers if you post a few of your drawings here. Then, we will start not from your judgments, but from your work
