    Fatalism offers to accept the predestination of being as a fact, and current processes-only its manifestation. It is like a magnetic tape with information already recorded, which is played back during playback on a tape recorder.�

    That is, fatalism defines current existence as a consequence of predestination, and determinism-on the contrary, perceives predestination as a consequence of the current state of things.
