  1. It is important for me to use precise definitions for all phenomena, so slavery for me is slavery – a situation or norm when one person owns another person as property. And I'm not going to put anything else into this concept in order not to produce entities unnecessarily.

  2. Slavery was and always will be in a variety of ways.

In essence, slavery is the exploitation of a person. The rest is just details.

Most of these “slaves” can be combined in one word – debt slavery.

Loans, taxes, contracts, the army, marriage, family, all this is essentially debt slavery in various forms.

The very concepts of duty, obligation, and responsibility are only more modern derivatives of slavery.

Also, under slavery, you can understand dependence on something.

Whether it's delicious food, attributes, comfort or entertainment content of all stripes.

  3. The story is not mine, but it will be interesting for those who are interested to read it.

“Look,” Pharaoh said to the priests, ” down below, long lines of chained slaves are carrying one stone at a time. They are guarded by many soldiers. The more slaves, the better for the state — that's what we've always thought. But the more slaves there are, the more we have to fear their rebellion. We're increasing security. We have to feed our slaves well, otherwise they won't be able to do the hard physical work. But they are still lazy and rebellious…

“Look how slowly they move, and the lazy guards don't whip them or beat them, not even healthy and strong slaves. But they will move much faster. They won't need guards. The guards will also be turned into slaves. You can do this like this. Let today, before sunset, the heralds will announce the decree of Pharaoh, which will say: “With the dawn of a new day, all slaves will be granted complete freedom. For each stone delivered to the city, a free person will receive one coin. Coins can be exchanged for food, clothing, housing, a palace in the city, and the city itself. From now on, you are free people.” …

In the morning of the next day, the priests and the Pharaoh once again ascended to the platform of the artificial mountain. The picture that presented itself to their eyes was amazing. Thousands of people, former slaves, were racing to drag the same stones as before. Sweating profusely, many carried two stones apiece. Others, who each had one, ran, kicking up dust. Some of the guards were also carrying rocks. People who considered themselves free — after all, the shackles were removed from them, sought to get as many coveted coins as possible in order to build their happy lives.

Kratius spent several more months on his own platform, watching with satisfaction what was happening below.

And the changes were huge. Some of the slaves gathered in small groups, built carts, and, loaded to the top with stones, sweating profusely, pushed these carts.

“They'll still have a lot of gadgets to invent,” Kratius thought with satisfaction, ” and now they've got their own internal services: water and food carriers… Soon they will choose their bosses and judges.

Let them choose: they, after all, consider themselves free, and the essence has not changed, they still carry stones.”

  4. I believe that slavery in its modern form is the control of the state over you, because you pay taxes(Which naturally go wrong) and go to the army necessarily as a slave. The state can control you at any time. Direct democracy is only anarchism

  5. Inner ignorance. This is what creates slavery, a system that creates a favorable environment for raising slaves. Ра Slaves, the material of this system that is intended for servicing its mechanisms, processes, and other internal programs. Slavery does not appear out of nowhere, someone creates it, but only a person creates it. A person does not know that his consciousness is at the mercy of this ancient slave system that he created himself. His inner ignorance gave birth to this ugly, painful, destructive product, which still dictates its will. Therefore, slaves who talk about freedom only express the previously programmed material that the system itself has laid down in them. The most interesting thing is that the slave does not even know that he is a slave, but on the contrary, sincerely believes that he is free, or partially free. Among the slave society, there are slaves who become very active, as they show their protest against the system, begin to fight it, incite others to riots. But unfortunately, they do not know that by their actions they are only trying to trample down, destroy their own shadow, which they took for something alien, a substance outside the boundaries of their consciousness. Their confidence that it is possible to defeat the system is so great that some of them are even willing to give their lives for it; not for free, of course, probably in the hope of gaining fame, honor and respect for posterity. What about without a reward? Rewards are attributes, symbols of the system, which it uses and distributes, like sugar for animals, to tame a person, make him an obedient little animal. The slave system is not a separate phenomenon outside of human consciousness, it is a psychological structure that has been formed for thousands of years, which is determined by the traditions, culture, and collective memory of society.
So this battle with the system will continue until the person sees that he is strengthening the foundation of his slavery. He, and what he fights, is one unbroken whole. Man is this system from which he is trying to free himself.

  6. The salary is in such a form that it allows you to cover back-to-back expenses and plan your fate not on the basis of your own desires, but based on your financial capabilities.

  7. Economic slavery, even without any loans and debts. Most people are forced to work at a job they don't like, because there is no other choice, but they want to eat
