Yes, it exists if we are in the position of materialism, not idealism or solipsism. I.e., we believe that the world around us exists regardless of whether we see it or not, and also that matter is primary, and consciousness is only a consequence of the organization of this matter.
Time is a form of physical processes. Do you remember the puzzles from school? For example , a stone with a mass of m1 began to fall from a cliff, after 3 seconds a stone with a mass of m2 with a rolling friction coefficient of K began to roll down the slope of the same mountain… etc.
Time describes the order of physical processes that occur. Living or intelligent matter is not necessary for the existence of time. For the existence of time, the possibility of changing matter is necessary.
Living and non-living matter is a conditional division.
All matter consists of the same “building blocks” and obeys the same physical laws.
