My cat scratches me in a fit of playfulness. It's my fault, I taught her to play with my hand. She releases her claws at some point, but she doesn't let go of my hand. That is, she likes such games.

The answer to this question depends on the situation and the nature of the cat. And the owner has an idea about the character of the cat. If the cat has flattened its ears, arched its back, or tries to run away in every possible way, it will scratch out of anger, and if it purrs and does not run away at the same time – from an overabundance of feelings.

If the cat doesn't really like you, it won't come near you and won't let you pet it.

Because we don't understand when a cat shows with a nonverbal sign that it is not configured to communicate. Unlike humans, cats have better developed methods of nonverbal communication and they better understand how one ear movement differs from another.
