  1. To convince yourself of your importance and find a justification for your existence.

If at some point you lose your sense of meaning, you can fall into insignificance. If I'm worthless, then I should die. And to die for our biological component is a loss.

What's the way out? We need to find this significance and cling to it as a justification for our existence. But this is really just an excuse. Because you can live just because you were born. Because you are in this world. And you're part of a larger system.

But you can hardly persuade yourself. If you are interested in the meaning of life, you need to work with a state of worthlessness. When you unhook the deep anchor of worthlessness, then the very question of finding meaning in life will disappear. That is, the tension and desire to find an excuse for your life will go away.

  2. Not everyone is looking for meaning, but many have been brought up in this way, in pursuit of a goal!

In addition, the meaning is different, someone has an instinct, someone has a need, someone just has a life that has developed,….

There are thousands of answers, anger, jealousy, love, cynicism, salvation, resentment…

Thousands of reasons to seek meaning in life….

For many, life passes by in pursuit! And this is the most offensive thing.

  3. About freedom of choice

Do we freely choose life without even knowing what it is? But the fear of non-existence forces us to search in areas that have the right to eternal existence. And such a “region” is the Kingdom of God, which is understood NOT as a “place”, but as a system of relations that has its beginning and “way of being” in God.

The love of God as the Truth Manifested in the Incarnation (God is Love) does not leave a person ANY free choice. He simply HAS to choose the Will of God and try to love his neighbors as He Loves them … This (in fact) is his (human) life.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. It was in the beginning with God. All things were made by Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. In Him was life, and life was the light of men. And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not embrace him. (Jn.1:1-5).

  4. the etymology of the word “meaning” most likely comes from the noun “thought” . From the same word comes the word “design”. These are all single-root words. I think that in the question of the meaning of life, the word “meaning” can be replaced by the word “design”. This will make the question clearer and the answer more obvious.

We see in the world around us that everything has its own purpose, function and task – and only a person cannot find himself and is constantly searching for meanings. This is all because he is lost, has fallen out of the Universal plan, is in a fog of meanings and wonders where he is from, why he is here and where he needs to go. And since there are many answers to this question and they are sometimes the most opposite and contradictory – so it turns out that the search for an answer continues both in general and in private.

Again, if you look at the opposite – no one probably wants to consciously live a life devoid of meaning, meaningless life, so a person always comes up with his own subjective meaning for complacency, but the meaning can not be invented, it must be discovered, unraveled, dig up, know because as already mentioned – the word meaning from the word design – that is, a person appeared according to someone's plan and here it is important not to miss.
