  1. Nietzsche's books are not fiction. Even the very first work “The Birth of Tragedy from the spirit of music” will be difficult to understand for a person who is not familiar with ancient philosophy and tragedy. And I am silent about his other works. If you want to understand Nietzsche, then I would recommend secondary sources, for example, biographies, a dictionary of Nietzsche's terms, various “introductions” to Nietzsche's philosophy in general or in his individual works. If you have knowledge of English, it will be much easier to find the material here.

    On the other hand, I don't want to discourage you from reading Nietzsche specifically. I believe that even an untrained reading of his work has had a very positive impact on my life.
