My idea of these terms is this:

Empiricism considers only experience as the only source of knowledge of the world, that is, no knowledge precedes experience, all knowledge is either a consequence of experience, or knowledge from the description of another person's experience

    = “Knowledge is experience”

Irrationalism can be compared to faith in God.

There is our world, in which we live, feel, suffer, laugh, etc., and there is the world of God, the afterlife, another dimension, whatever you want to call it, the point is that there is a boundary of knowledge that a person cannot cross, which limits his knowledge.

= “Irrationalism is where empiricism is impossible”

I hope I was able to help and clearly explained and most importantly correctly, if not, please correct
