Bronislaw Malinowski believed that mythology is a collection of texts with stories about history, the structure of the world, or correct behavior. They are created by people as instructions on how to act in a critical situation. For example, a close relative died. The person is grieving and in a state of shock. In this case, the myth will explain to him how to act. And according to the” outline ” of the myth, rituals (the practical side of religion) and beliefs (the theoretical part) are created. The mythological worldview differs from the religious way of representing the world. First of all, the mythological type of worldview has historically emerged earlier.
