Whose illusion? Is it ours? In that case, it's okay – we'll die and disappear.

If the Absolute dreams of the world – for example, the absolute subject Atman in Indian religious and philosophical thought-and the whole phenomenal world is a Maya veil, passing and slipping away – then you need to train yourself and get out of this burden. Suicide is not an option, because it is the kind of rebellion against the Matrix that the Matrix may well envisage. I would recommend the Sisyphus option (meaningfully doing meaningless work-remember the Greek myth of Sisyphus) – just live as if nothing had happened, firmly knowing that everything is an illusion.

However, as a radical theist (Christian), I advise you not to fill your head with any nonsense. The world is not an illusion, but an essay. Moreover, the composition is quite postmodern. We are all here – Pierre Bezukhov, thinking about Leo Tolstoy, elves, communicating with Tolkien, Romeo and Juliet, brawling with Shakespeare about their tragic fate. I think this is very interesting and promising. The author is alive!
