Does it make sense to renew it? You didn't just lose interest in something. People lose interest in certain things if they no longer bring the same emotions or other nishty things that they used to. And if this “something” is no longer pleasing, then why mock yourself? But it is still possible to regain your former motivation, but for this you will have to analyze yourself and your recent actions.
First, remember why you liked it before and ask yourself: “Why do I feel differently about it now?” Maybe you feel like you've hit the ceiling? Or has something else become a priority now? This will help you understand yourself a little and figure out what you need to do next. Either look for a new reason to do this, or don't harass yourself.
I can't say anything more specific, because it all depends on what the interest is lost and for what reason. But you can understand this for yourself if you do what I say at the beginning of the second paragraph. Everything else is purely individual, and no list on the topic ” What to do if..”, doesn't really help.
Is there no interest in any business or in life at all? I will review these issues and try to deal with them.
Oh, when I remember what happened to me quite recently, I'm already ashamed. How could I ever let my life take its course? I've wasted so much time…
I had a time when I lost interest not only in business, but also in life in general. I was an avid lazy person and just wasted my days sitting on social networks, constantly watching movies, lying on the couch, eating a lot of junk food, spending very little time outdoors and hardly communicating with anyone. I didn't understand what I was living for at all, and for me at that time, the world around me seemed gray and sad.
And the reason was the lack of motivation. Here, I wrote in detail how I handled it:
TheQuestion: we will find those who will answer your questions.
But this is only one reason out of many others. Let's go further and look at a few more reasons:
Fatigue. Have you ever noticed that when you get down to business, you start to feel empty and annoyed? A person who suffers from fatigue begins to experience complete indifference to activities. Moreover, in this case, you will not be able to restore your enthusiasm and strength immediately. Interest in the case will fall – after all, it is the source of fatigue. The most painful and unpleasant thing in this situation is the fear that you will lose your skills and the feeling of your own inadequacy.
Obyazalovka. Find out if you really have an interest in the case. Or do you think that you should be interested in it just because you need to? If a person goes through life guided only by the principles: I must, I must, I am forced, then interest in any activity disappears very quickly.
Monotony. It is not at all surprising if, after working on the same task for a certain time, you are tired and start to show anxiety, and you are absolutely tired of the work. The need for change is natural. After all, diversity is one of the main nutrients of life.
Setting a big goal. When there is a global goal, the scale of it may seem overwhelming and unrealistic. There is fear, a sense of powerlessness and meaninglessness of what we do. We take on too much, so we lose all interest in the case. Dead end.
Interest often disappears where it is too difficult and incomprehensible. This is often the case for students when they did not understand something at first or started the material. It disappears where there is no development, where it is impossible to learn something new and non-standard.

Conditions for the occurrence of interest.
More often, interest arises where there is a new development opportunity.
In order for interest to arise, grow and grow stronger (turn into a habit), you need to:
Create convenient conditions for development. In particular, to make the case simple, and the new material-clear.
Show prospects and reinforce a sense of success.
Stop, give yourself a break.
Learn the “art of small steps”. Have you set a big goal? Great! So that it doesn't crush you, break it down into stages. And go ahead! Do!
I hope my answer will be useful to many! Good luck to you! 🙂
