  1. You have asked a very difficult question, because even if you have deep knowledge, it is extremely difficult to answer it. There is so much different information and reasoning on the topic of mental maturity that it is impossible to formulate it briefly.

So let's focus on the main qualities of an adult.

The first thing that distinguishes an adult from a child is responsibility.

When a young person is responsible for his words and actions, he first thinks about why he wants to say or do something, how it can end, that is, what the result is, and only then makes a decision about the action. Responsible for your knowledge or lack thereof.

Takes responsibility for mistakes made due to lack of knowledge and experience. He learns from mistakes. Capable of making commitments and responsible for their fulfillment. It has strong-willed qualities, that is, it does what is needed, and not what you want.

To speed up the process of growing up, you don't need to do anything special. You can get a job and start exploring adulthood, but without compromising your studies.

  2. Quite an interesting question… I believe that to do this, an individual needs to master the world around us…

Can a person stranded on a desert island grow up as a teenager?! I don't think so…Without society, he will simply become an “animal” in human form.

Maturity is a specific set of human responses to environmental influences….If, for example, a child or teenager is faced with a problem, he does not solve it, but simply cries or ignores it at a more impressive age.

There is only one conclusion: if you do not give up on the problem…and you go straight to it and decide then you're an adult. Although according to such criteria, there are very few adults….it turns out😣
