  1. The jaw, to put it simply, is a free bone, i.e. it is not attached to the skull by other bones. When a person “takes” a blow to this very free-floating bone,it seems to hit the skull. In other words, there are ligaments between the jaw and the “remaining head” that are quite soft. When struck, the jaw hits the skull, causing micro-strokes (this is scientific), i.e., in our opinion, a small shake.�
    Understanding what “satryas” is, it becomes clear why the head hurts.
