It depends on what you want to get out of it. If the advice is about how to live on, then nothing more sensible than “Go to Paris”, you will not find. There are 2 main trilogies, but this is still all subjective.
As far as I'm concerned, Miller's first book was Tropic of Capricorn, when I was 16 years old and, to be honest, I didn't understand anything. Now, as part of my studies, I reread it and life seems to have become easier, or something.
In general, the only advice I can give you is to reread it at different times in your life.
