  1. You should decide whether you are more interested in the history of philosophy or current philosophical trends. If the former, then you can read B. Russell, if the latter, then pay attention to the Logos magazine, which is available both by subscription and in the electronic version.

  2. As with almost any science, philosophy must be dealt with thoroughly and academically. Start with the tutorials. It explains everything very well. They are usually called “introduction to philosophy “or”philosophy textbook for universities”. In my opinion, good textbooks were published in the 80s. Read Soviet textbooks, read modern ones. This is not math or programming where you need to create something with your own hands by fixing the material. Here you need to read a certain amount. So read a few cover-to-cover tutorials. When you have mastered the basic concepts, then you can try to read something more in-depth. But it's still too early to talk about this.

There is such a philosopher Vyacheslav Aleksandrovich Trembach, who can also explain many interesting things and give good advice.

  3. If this is important for you, then it is better to get an education at the Faculty of Philosophy, a second higher education 🙂 It is extremely difficult for one person to understand the flow of literature and highlight the main thing. Need a Yandex. Navigator! At the very least, you should take a few sensible courses that will be clear and interesting to you.

  4. Here thequestion.ru they answered a similar question, including me, but I don't know how much my knowledge can be considered “high-quality”. Probably not very high-quality, to be honest. In any case, it was interesting; more interesting than the lectures that were given to us in the corresponding course at Moscow State University.
