A psychiatrist I know told me about it in response to a similar question (in the late 1990s and after Fight Club, of course), so I'll briefly sing from his words. It will be very good if my answer is supported or refuted by a modern specialist with full-fledged terminology and examples.
First of all, one should not confuse multiple personality disorder and bipolar affective disorder (also known as manic-depressive psychosis; as it turned out, many people are confused). In the second case, there is a change or confusion of phases with the preserved self-identification of the only Self, unless, of course, there are concomitant mental illnesses or conditions that cause memory disorders. A multiple personality is a set of Selves, each of which lives its own unique life without overlapping with others, and each personality has complete control over the patient's behavior.
Since “multiple personality” automatically means “phase amnesia” (the defense mechanism of the psyche), all these Selves do not learn anything at the same time. So the answer to your question is no way. Theoretically, however, each I can tell the diagnosis of the attending physician.
