Learn from the end to the beginning (first the last stanza, then the penultimate one). I don't remember who wrote it, but human memory is so organized that it is easier for it to rely on familiar lines that will be at the end, and not at the beginning.
verse is easier to learn, it is clear to everyone. words cling to each other and fit more easily in your head. when I needed to learn prose in a short time, there were tactful actions: you break it into parts (2-3 sentences each), repeat it many times, connect it with other parts. to “hit” all types of memory-you can then write this text by hand, or record it on a voice recorder and listen.
