First, you need to take it as an axiom that beautiful speech requires training and it is impossible to make a “perfect” speech in one day.

To begin with, if you can't pronounce words, swallow endings, or have other speech defects, you can try talking in a slow voice for a month, absolutely with everyone, so that you get the feeling that you are talking like a down. At the same time, your speech should look natural.

You can also learn poems by heart, read aloud, and practice tongue twisters.

To expand the range of the voice and strengthen the strength of the voice, working on breathing will be an important aspect. Proper breathing allows us not to be nervous during the performance and to convey our thoughts to others with a uniform timbre.

There are many exercises that help you correctly set your diction, breathing, add beauty to your voice, etc. To do this, watch videos of famous speakers and speakers (for example, Levitan and Stanislavsky), do various exercises for speech development, perform more often in front of the audience, and most importantly – make a habit of training every day, because any skill comes with experience!

You said correctly that you need to read a lot. At one time I read excitedly everything in a row, and there was a great effect. Even in terms of essays, the situation has improved significantly (I didn't notice this, the teacher noticed). The gears are moving, the wit is flowing. Well, everything ends sometime. Eh heh… Period without books + primitive communication “for fun” – hello, degradation.)
P.S. Well, this is so for me, for others, I'm sure things are better.

In addition to the technique, content is important. You can't even build a beautiful sentence with a vocabulary of one and a half words 🙂
Read, read a lot, read in a variety of ways, and also read aloud.
