First, what does everything mean? Surely there are things so unpleasant that few people would even want to know about their existence, let alone understand them.
Second, “start figuring things out.” What does “start” mean? It seems to me that “starting to understand everything” is exactly the same as “being a pseudo-smart person”.
Good. To understand everything, you need to read all the books in the world first, watch all the movies, listen to all the songs and audio programs, learn all the languages, talk to all the people living…But here's the first bummer, you did all this, but you didn't find billions of people walking around the planet anymore, because they lived thousands of years ago. And could you figure out how an animal feels when your future shampoo is tested on it?..Unlikely.
What should I do? Identify areas of knowledge that are interesting to you, and become a slightly more enlightened pseudo-smart person in them.
