Let's try to structure it:) There are three kinds of literature – epic, lyric, and drama. There are several genres in each genre. Here are the main ones:

    • Epic: epic, novel, novella, short story, short story, essay.
    • Lyrics: ode, lyric poem, elegy, epigram.
    • Drama: comedy, tragedy.

There are also intermediate lyric-epic genres (they combine the features of lyrics and epics). This is, for example, a poem, a ballad, or a novel in verse.

I myself do not know what genre my book “The Experience of Unified Cognition”belongs to. This is a description of the experience of my life and thinking about a person in general, following from the experience of life. There are rational, scientific texts and there are entertaining texts. Why does the individual write? Either he's looking for answers to life's most pressing questions, or he's letting go of the reins of his fantasy. There are rational minds and there are artistic ones.
