By the way, there is a funny and not very scientific theory on this topic: they say that in ancient times left-handed men were more likely to die in battle, since holding a shield in their right hand they could not protect the heart. Accordingly, right-handed males were in the majority passing on genes to offspring, so there are more right-handers than left-handers.

  2. As far as I know,there is a gene responsible for this. In left-handers, this is the LR gene and then something there, I don't remember already. It seems to be LRMT.

    Although there is a theory that it all depends on which hemisphere of the brain is responsible for motor skills and so on.
