  1. That's great! I remember my student days with delight. First of all, very different and interesting people go to filosofsky even for the sake of a crust. In addition to real “philosophers”, we have studied: dance teacher, fashion model, advertising executive, tolkienist (he later dropped out of high school and became a priest) …

Secondly, there is nothing more interesting than philosophy in general.:)

  2. Great. I didn't think at all that I would get to the philosophy course (I wanted to go to philologists). And in the end, I do not regret the choice that happened. Since I'm interested in philosophy, it's great to learn. Although, of course, it's hard, but that's the whole point, otherwise it would be boring. Being a philosophy student means asking childish questions like “how can the universe be infinite” all over again. You read a lot of different books, articles, and learn to think a lot, with taste, and for the benefit of life (although it is impossible to teach you to think). A philosophy student is the same humanist who studies not fiction (mostly), but everything else. Finally, when you are a student and you feel frustrated and frustrated – “who am I?”, ” what can I do?”, “what can I hope for”, ” what can I know?” – to get to the philosophical-a great success. The meaning of life is drawn, life becomes calmer and more interesting 🙂

  3. Hmm… I remember the bike… “How many ancient philosophers do you know?”

    • Well, Marcus Aurelius, Diogenes, Seneca, Plutarch… maybe a dozen…

    • And the Middle Ages?

    • Abelard, Thomas, Occam… I'll name about twenty people…

    • And everything, everything?

    • Well, Happy New Time if… maybe seventy people… assuredly…

    • So, from the faculty of this university every year there are a hundred people with a diploma, each of which says “Philosopher”…

    Something like that.

  4. As well as a student of any other faculty. If you want to, you go in pairs. If you want to, you don't go. For all the time of training, you will love 3-5 courses, the rest will be listened to in half an ear. From the 2nd-3rd year, when the fear of being expelled disappears, and the desire to withdraw yourself has not yet come, you will look for a job and find out that no one cares who you are studying for or whether you are studying at all. If you're lucky, you won't drown in the metaphysical wilds and you'll still be connected to reality. If you are not lucky , you will be sucked into science and then let yours be a thorn. Or maybe the other way around. The main thing from the 1st year is to understand what research is currently relevant, so that you can do it and go on internships in other countries. In general, there are two options: either you got to the philosophical course by accident, then you will be sad. Or you get all this high – then time will fly by-you won't notice. But it is safer to be a materialist, more likely to earn money later)

    Vot.

  6. These are amazing years in life. For several years you have been immersed in reading the works of the greatest minds of mankind and discussing their ideas. And everyone around you is just like you – they read it and are ready to discuss it. Study philosophy , it's great!
