What is the most active part of your imagination?
This is a question that I think you should sometimes look for an answer to. I write texts about movies, but still my imagination is much more active when, for example, I compose English lessons for children. Or when I come up with a gift for someone. For some, it's cooking, for others-hairstyles or everyday outfits. And for you?
In thinking through book plots (both for my own books and for other people's fiction texts that I edit and process).
The basis of the plot is always the behavior of the characters, their reaction to circumstances. Character development is the most difficult part of a literary task, requiring a rich imagination.
In inventing the plot, oddly enough. I like to think about the character, his character and psychology. And I'm not a writer at all. And far from it. However, I like to play out scenes in a fictional world in my head, which I think would be interesting. But this has never been useful to me , rather, on the contrary, I am often absent-minded. Apparently, in particularly difficult moments, you want to escape from problems and the brain tries to escape in an alternative reality. 🙈
