Sleep is an inhibition that has spread over the cerebral cortex (so according to Pavlov). When we are busy with something-the brain is active, excitement reigns in it. If we are interested, it excites our brain. When we have nothing to do and are bored-areas of inactivity increase, braking gradually captures an increasingly large surface of the cortex…. and now you are already asleep )
