  1. Yes, it exists, in four main types. Most of them are theoretical alchemists who read, write and study ancient books on alchemy, manuscripts, etc. But this, we can assume, is not alchemy, but simply esotericism. There are practices of “spiritual alchemy”, a direction actually invented by Fulcanelli and R. Ambelin, where alchemical terms are applied to human psychology and spirituality, and alchemical processes are likened to the mental and religious experiences of a person in his relationship with God. It's not exactly alchemy either, but that's what they call it. Finally, there are very few, but quite lively, practical alchemists who, using the same medieval means, continue to conduct the same medieval alchemical work using ancient manuscripts, from time to time even starting blogs and websites and sharing their achievements. I have personally been to two laboratories in France that are completely serious, operational, and yet completely medieval. Well, I also mention separately modern physicists, biochemists and chemists, who are the real modern alchemists, doing virtually the same thing as the alchemists of the Middle Ages, but at a modern level.

  2. What do you mean by the word “Alchemy”? You need to understand this to understand the answer! Alchemy – can be internal or external. External is the effect on the body of various elixirs, potions, etc. for transformation. Internal – these are the same transformations / transformations only with the help of internal work with the energy of a person and the surrounding space. Whether alchemy exists now-of course it does, it has not gone away, only the right / true methods are hard to find and even harder to find, but it is within the power of a person looking for the Path.

  3. Today, the noble arts are in deep decline:( Everything is mostly based on old masters, who are already 300-400 years old. There is absolutely no hope for young people. And what does a two-hundred-year-old kid know about transmutation?
