Qualia is an abstraction. Watch yourself. You will not find “sensation” in its pure form. You will always find reactions. There are no qualia. There are red items and green items. They cause me different reactions. For example, when a traffic light turns green, I cross the road.
The illusion of qualia arises from things like imagination and memory. It seems as if there is some “inner” reality. Whereas in reality, mental images are just a special kind of human behavior.
