Eternity is eternal by definition and speaks for itself , it has no beginning, no end, etc . it is infinite . Claims are checked on a case-by-case basis .
The dilemma… If we take the question literally, then it is likely that, provided that nothing is eternal, the concept of “eternity” is excluded in principle. It turns out quite trivially.
Good question))) You're probably right. However, in my opinion, eternity is a relative quantity, like time. Time passes differently for each of us
And what is “time”? People don't know. Just like we don't know what electricity is, gravity is. We come up with our own explanations for all this, but no one has yet been able to prove the correctness of these judgments.
In the material world of relative things, nothing lasts forever. The concept of “eternity” – ideal, refers to the world of the ideal and absolute, to the spiritual world. Alas, in this dark age, when most of us are forced by cultural conditions to identify with the surrounding matter, such words lose all meaning.
