Not social protest in principle, but nihilism as a way to perceive the world, to think about the world. This is a special case of borderline thinking: black/white, all or nothing, who is not with us is against us. Borderline-in adults, or psychopathy, or severe underdevelopment (in fact, in a sense, so in teenagers and stuck), but for a teenager just a variant of the norm.
Nihilism is total devaluation. Trying a simple wrong answer. But why nonsense-no more than the belief in Santa Claus, or God, or that all evil is from cyclists… Human things like that, yes…
I wouldn't call it nonsense, I'd have to put it another way. It's more correct than that, before they spit on me here. I know that now there is a so-called new nihilism against the background of information redundancy. Think for yourself how difficult it is for a modern person in the flow of assimilation and mastering more and more new information. The fact that society has long been ill with hypertrophied communication skills is a direct fact. The individual begins to turn into an information-determined unit, which has lost the ability to achieve an independent state from the information dictate. If we take the example of our state, then the mass spread of nihilistic views has always been pessimism and apathy, which arise in the absence of a positive perspective, a modern project designed to provide Russia with competitive advantages in the race of civilizations. In my opinion, any attempts to implement nihilistic approaches and principles in solving at least some large-scale tasks have always had unambiguously destructive consequences for Russian society.
Call it what you will, but nihilism has no objective basis. And the responsibility lies with state institutions that do not keep up with the times. And the conclusion about the contradictory and multifaceted nature of the phenomenon of nihilism suggests itself.
