Scholasticism is a systematic European medieval philosophy that is centered around universities and is a synthesis of Christian (more precisely, Catholic) theology and Aristotelian logic. It is characterized by a fundamental subordination to the primacy of theology, a combination of dogmatic premises with rationalistic methodology, and a special interest in formal and logical problems. The most complete development of this type of philosophy was in Western Europe, in the Middle Ages.
Scholasticism in my vision is a Christian theological philosophy, moving away from the Truth in the form of Catholicism, through the Material World! The current is many, but the Truth is one!
Scholasticism is, simply put, the postulation of dogmas in religion and their interpretation from the point of view of logic and rationality, the search for or solution of contradictions in religion.
