1. Unlike the philosophy of the West, the philosophy of the East has focused its attention on the problem of man, and considers the problem of man from the point of view of practice, without delving into the essence of the natural philosophical, ontological, epistemological, logical foundations of this practical existence of man, as it was in ancient philosophy.
The philosophical teachings of the West in the era of the ancient world did not turn into any of the world's religions. Moreover, in Western ancient philosophy, especially in the writings of Democritus, Epicurus, Lucretius Carus and other philosophers, the atheistic tendency is quite strong.
Development of the categorical apparatus: in Eastern philosophy, many categories proposed by mythology are organically perceived. Western philosophy mostly operates with traditional philosophical categories: motion, opposite, unity, matter, consciousness, space, time, world, substance, etc.
Differences in solving cognitive problems. Much attention is paid in Eastern philosophy to the problem of the law, the relationship of the people and the ruler.
The peculiarity of Eastern philosophy is that Eastern philosophy is a philosophy that wakes you up a little in the morning. Buddhism, for example, awakens. Alarm clock, Buddha, Budyonny – these are all Eastern philosophical concepts.
