It depends on how you look at it.
1. This is everything that surrounds us, the totality of everything that exists. At the same time, the world is both a separate planet, like our Earth, and a separate galaxy, just smaller worlds in one big one.
2. This is a state without war. Including in the spiritual sense, when “peace in the soul” of an individual, harmony with himself and others, peace.
3. These are all people, and both everyone on the planet and in a single location – “the whole world in the village solved the problem”, that is, the entire population of this village.
4. This is the sphere of human activity – the world of art, the world of technology.
In general, all these definitions have a common point: the world is a collection of any phenomena that have at least one common moment, a “point of contact”.
The world of people as a whole is a unique linguistic, cultural, historical, political and religious diversity of flat Babylon (protected by the UN Charter) – a commonwealth of fraternal sovereign states (one Church), with periodic enemies of the fraternal commonwealth (a coalition of states of the false church of an aggressive hegemon).
