  1. Because it was on the planet Earth that life began 4 billion years ago, and then gradually evolved to multicellular organisms, then to warm-blooded animals, mammals, primates, and finally to humans.

Why on this particular planet? Because there are suitable conditions for this on Earth:

    • It's not too close to the Sun, like Mercury or Venus, but it's also not too far away, like Mars. The result: a climate suitable for the development of life, water does not evaporate and does not freeze.
    • It has an iron core, which allows the planet to have a magnetic field. The result: the surface of the planet is less exposed to solar radiation and hard cosmic radiation.
    • The Earth belongs to cosmic bodies with a solid stone shell, i.e. it turned out to have enough elements such as oxygen and carbon, which together with hydrogen form the basis of life. On icy planets, carbon is extremely low. The result: enough “building material” for biological systems.
    • In the solar system, there is Jupiter, which, with its powerful gravitational field, captures most of the comets and meteorites that would otherwise bombard our planet hundreds of times more often. The result: life was able to develop, and not die over and over again in the initial stages.

These conditions (and many others) are a rather rare combination of successful circumstances. But it would be a big exaggeration to think that Earth is unique. Today, astronomers already know about 20 exoplanets that have conditions similar to Earth's. Hypothetically, they also could (or may in the future) develop life. And this is only in our galaxy.

And there are a couple of trillions of galaxies in the visible part of the universe alone. If even a millionth of these galaxies are somewhat similar to our Milky Way, then we should talk about an average of 20 million Earth-like planets in the visible part of the universe.

Will humanity be able to populate them? Or will those planets already have a life of their own when we get there? Or maybe we are doomed to eternal “house arrest” on our own planet? Time will tell.

  2. “I fight because I fight!” – said Porthos in the famous movie.

We live on this planet because we live on it!

Don't take our Lord, or indeed anyone else, in vain…

..and about the Bible I will say this-a fundamental work, very interesting, but tedious and completely unnecessary to give as an example! But she should have been hit on the head. Maybe the brains will fall into place!

Any Bible (Talmud, Koran, etc.) was written by people, not by God! And not even under His dictation! (…well, very smart…)

I am Orthodox according to the tradition of my ancestors, and I believe in our Lord for a long time and quite consciously. I myself, even as a youngster, realized and came to this. I've never needed crutches like the Bible, the Church, or any other priest's nonsense to do this.

But I try to honor and observe the traditions of Orthodoxy. After all, as long as we have traditions, we are a people. In this case – Russian.

As for the settlement of the earth, I will say this: we can't even look back 100,000 years, but we are trying to operate with millions!

As one of the respondents said-4 billion rubles . another – 1.5 billion years, the planet Earth began to overgrow with animals. A billion there, a billion here, but what's the argument about? If scientists are right, and all this time on Earth there were processes of origin and formation of life, then what is wrong with this?

During this time, it was possible to repeatedly grow into a space community, master the universe, and not just the Galaxy, get tired of life, degrade several times, and start developing again. What's the argument about? In this period of time, there is enough space for everyone: for Sumerians, for dinosaurs, and for other blue-green ones.

Plus, the universe is infinite in all directions, i.e. not only in the space-time continuum, but also in the repetition of parallel reflections, copies and other antimatter. This means that we don't just live here and now, but we live here and now countless times! From here and all our clairvoyant dreams, and prophecies, and other “deja vu”.

And about this particular planet – and why not? Personally, I really, well, just really like it!

  3. Have you ever wondered when they say that we live on a “sinful” Earth? And this suggests to me that the inhabitants of the Earth are sinners who are given a chance to improve, that is, get rid of their karma and move to higher worlds. On this basis, the ancient sages gave people advice that earthly life is perfection. And it prefers that a person should understand that he and the Universe are one, that a person is a particle of the whole. And who is enlightened and knows the truth of the universe, he does not return to this Earth. This is my vision of why I am on this Earth and I am doing my best to know the truth of the universe. This is my Path in this life!!! With respect.

  4. It's very simple, we live on this planet because the Lord God created it for us.In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth, but the earth was formless and desolate, and the spirit of God moved over the earth. I think I've answered your question?

  5. And why do we live in a certain country, at a certain address, at a certain time? And who determined these points of our earthly stay?
People of this century believe that science has proved the absence of God, and those who try to explain everything from the point of view of religious consciousness will at best be called ignoramuses. But while they share the view of the scientific community, most people also accept this kind of explanation on faith. They only believe in the same people as they are.
The natural world, the natural world, whatever you want to call it, was created not out of chaos, not by chance, but by the greatest plan of the Creator, and we humans, as the crown of this creation, occupy a corresponding place in all this complex, but surprisingly harmonious and harmonious system. There is nothing random, unnecessary, or useless about it. In it, everything is connected in an indissoluble connection with one another, and everything has one source of origin.
To fail to understand this is to admit to a lack of ability to think rationally. If everything is produced according to the Creator's plan, then there is a certain goal. We are not able to comprehend it with our own minds. But we can understand that the place of birth, the people who became our parents, the time at which we were born, and the type of occupation – all this is not a chain of accidents, but a natural process that is guided by some force that is invisible to us, but leads to a certain result.
The fact that we ended up on a planet called Earth is also part of the Creator's plan. Because It has many worlds, and they are also inhabited by humans. After all, on reasonable reflection, we can not say that the Earth is the only habitable planet. If the Cosmos is infinite, then the planets on which people live are innumerable. And the fact that we are separated by space and time is also not in our competence. So we should not overlap in the natural life. After all, for example, in Australia there are animal species that are not found anywhere else on our planet, and an elephant living in Africa will never meet a kangaroo in nature. Well, except maybe at the zoo.
Therefore, our place of sojourn on Earth is strictly determined, and it depends on the place that the Creator has assigned us in the next age.
I may be accused of ignorance, but I'm not a scientist. And scientists can't explain much. There are now far more questions than answers in any field of scientific research. But as the English writer Evelyn Waugh has pointed out: all differences of opinion are theological differences.

  6. Interesting question)) ⠀
Have you ever thought about what is said in the very first pages of the Bible? It lists the conditions that, according to scientists, are necessary for the emergence and development of life on a particular planet.⠀
The existence of life requires an abundance of water, and this condition is mentioned in Genesis 1: 2.At the same time, the temperature on the planet must be such that the water remains in a liquid state. This means that the planet should be at the optimal distance from the Sun.In
order for a human being to live on a planet, an atmosphere of a certain chemical composition is necessary, an important condition mentioned in Genesis 1: 6-8. As vegetation increases, as described in Genesis 1: 11, 12, the oxygen content in the atmosphere increases. The vast diversity of the animal world requires land and fertile soil, as reported in Genesis 1: 9-12. Finally, in order to maintain
a temperate climate, the tilt of the planet's rotation axis must be at the correct angle. The moon and its influence on our planet are discussed in Genesis 1: 14, 16.⠀
How could Moses, who wrote the book of Genesis, in those early days list conditions that have become known only to modern science? ⠀
Moses was under the inspiration of God. And this is something to think about, especially if you take into account the fact that the narrative from Genesis is characterized by scientific accuracy.⠀
Indeed, the way the Earth works is proof of God's wisdom.
“The heavens are the heavens of the Lord, but the earth He has given to the sons of men.” Psalm 113: 24

  7. On Earth, everything is thought out in detail by God, for the life of people: the shape of the Earth, the size of the angle of inclination, the distance to the Sun, etc. There are many amazing things in the world, you can explore forever.
    The Bible says :
“The heavens declare the glory of God, and the firmament tells of the works of his hands.”

  8. Because we were born here, which is logical). In general, life exists on many other planets. Here as luck would have it). Where you were born, there you exist)

  9. The only available source of answers explaining this fact is the Bible
The Holy Scriptures say that ” God created the heavens and the earth “(Genesis 1:1). He commanded Adam and Eve: “Be fruitful and multiply, fill the earth, cultivate it, and rule over it… over every living thing that moves on the earth “(Genesis 1: 28).Death could only befall people if they disobeyed God (Genesis 2:17). According to the Creator's plan, the Earth was to become an eternal home for humanity. It was supposed to be inhabited by people who were loyal to God, who would take care of it and live on it forever.
    Will the Earth be destroyed?
“He has established the earth on a firm foundation; it will not be shaken forever and ever” (Psalm 104: 5).

    WHAT THE BIBLE SAYS
God's plan for the Earth has not changed. The Word of God clearly states: “The earth remains forever “(Ecclesiastes 1:4). In addition, it will always be inhabited by people. The Bible says, ” The righteous will inherit the earth and live in it forever “(Psalm 37: 29).
    WHY THIS IS IMPORTANT
Thinking that the Earth will still be destroyed, some people barbarically waste its valuable natural resources. Others, losing all hope for the future, live in one day, which makes their lives aimless and meaningless. However, the belief that we will live on Earth forever encourages us to make decisions that even in the distant future will have a beneficial effect on us and our loved ones.

  10. We are lucky that life was born on this planet and developed successfully for 4 billion years. Meteorites, global wars, infectious diseases and nuclear weapons could not destroy us.
