  1. Understanding meaning is about treating your life as a whole. You can solve tasks of the minute, tasks of the day, week, month, year, or ten years. In this case, you see certain fragments, but your life as a whole escapes you. Now you solve one problem, in a minute another, tomorrow a third, in a month a fourth, in a year a fifth, in ten years a sixth, and so on. These tasks may not be related to each other in any way and may even contradict each other. That is, you may not have any common line, no life strategy. This means that you don't have a common assessment criterion — whether you are going the right way, whether you are moving somewhere, whether you are developing, whether you are achieving success, etc. And in general, whether you solve the same problems. Many people live like this, and some believe that it is necessary. But in this case, your life turns out to be less controlled and less conscious, you give up the ability given to a person to generalize what is happening to him and develop a common position.

“…no one would undertake any task if they did not intend to reach some limit.
And there would be no intelligence in those who do this, for the one who is endowed with intelligence always acts for the sake of something, and this something is the limit, because the ultimate goal is the limit.” [Aristotle, Metaphysics 2: 2].

    The choice is always yours.

    • I will try to answer the question by changing it a little: “why is it important for people to understand the meaning of life?” Just because I myself believe that people don't really understand the meaning of such a plan – there is nothing to understand, there is no objectively existing meaning. Rather, they create, consciously or not, for themselves, or accept someone else's suggestions.

    So:

    A. Markov has an interesting hypothesis in “Human Evolution”. That, since we were formed as a biological and social species, being able to make informed assumptions about the motives and causes of other people's behavior is something of an evolutionarily fixed quality. Well, like speech – it is not innate, but is transmitted through social interaction, but for this anatomical and physiological fitness is biologically transmitted, fixed.

And then the need to understand meaning-from there, from the vital need fixed in the biological and social evolution of our species to understand the motives of other people – and then our own, too, is a completely unified process.

  2. Here, you are learning for yourself and do not think about the purpose of your study. You have a lot of joys, but also a lot of sorrows. You like one thing and don't like the other. Of course, you want it to be easy, pleasant and interesting to learn, so that there are no difficulties if possible… This is natural and normal. But at the same time, think: your final exams will pass, and everything that you did in school – your diaries and notebooks, twos, threes and fives, commendations and reprimands with warnings – all this is left behind, everything except what you learned, and with this “baggage” you enter a new, still unknown to you life. And if someone forgets about it, if they study “for the sake of studying”, it will be rather stupid…

An obvious analogy, isn't it? But don't rush to accept it! Think about it: what is it based on, and why is it applicable?…

  3. What makes you think that life has meaning and that finding it is important?

It seems to me that a serious obsession with the search for the “meaning of life” is an expression of the fear of death. It's all flashed before my eyes and is about to end. What was that? And why?!

In my opinion, once you've managed to be born, you should live in joy as much as possible and leave behind a slightly better world than it was before you.

  4. This question is not entirely correct. In the structure of the psyche, what can be called a level-the Meaning of Life, is responsible for what we can give, I will say tautology, a meaningful life, that is, filled with living, joy, the possibility of happiness. This is what gives us a sense of the active principle in us, the Creator. Without it, we are slaves, robots.

We are already born robots, animals. And even a robot, an animal, has a built – in meaning-survival, a human-type robot. Depending on where there are more deviations (for the father, for the mother, for the child in itself) and the specifics of the scenario in the family, the meanings are prescribed religious, scientific or esoteric. They are registered. But this is not the fact that the person accepted them, accepted himself. Find meaning – at least accept yourself and your life.

There is a Higher Meaning, and this is not what religions, science, or esotericism offer.

But, it reaches units in millions, which become the vanguard of Evolution.

But it doesn't matter. It is important to find YOUR meaning…ANY …and this will already increase the positive ….meaningfulness of being.

And if and when you get tired of pragmatic meanings, then by reviewing family and social values, looking BEYOND religion, science, esotericism, beyond stereotypes, without intending to end your life here and now, you will find a Higher Meaning – Common to ALL people, working for the Units that have become people.

  5. A person without the meaning of life cannot live happily. After all, we all strive for something. Wrong attitude, life without a goal can lead to apathy. If a person does something that he really likes, he will be happy, do more and reach heights. Even if you choose the wrong profession that you don't like, you will already lose the meaning of life. You don't have to achieve other people's goals. Yes, they will be happy, but not you. And why do you need it if you already lose the meaning of life?! Everyone has different ideas about life. The main thing is not a concept, but to find the meaning of life, to understand your existence. So my friend, you can change your life in an instant if you find the meaning of life and your desires. I wish you all the best!

  6. Very good question, full of deep meaning. And the most logical thing to do is to find out the answer from the one who gave us life.Solomon, like no one else, could talk about how to find happiness and meaning in life. With his God-given extraordinary wisdom, vast wealth, and royal power, he was able to thoroughly explore people's aspirations, including the pursuit of wealth and prominence. Then, under the inspiration of God, he summed up his research: “Let us hear the essence of everything: fear God and keep His commandments, for this is all for man.”This is God's requirement, which means we must do it.We owe him our lives. And when we are guided by his demands, we do our duty.To put it simply, it's about doing the will of God. Nothing else can make our lives truly meaningful.

  7. Because I am deeply convinced that not everyone is looking for the meaning of life, I will answer the question that sounds a little different:
“Why do some people strive to find meaning in life? “
In my opinion, due to the presence of curiosity among people and the desire to find cause-and-effect relationships of events/phenomena, and there is a desire to find out “why do I live?” And of course, FEAR (including before death), as the most important emotion that is a protective reaction of any animal.
The fear of unexplained natural phenomena (and why they are the cause of death: drought, floods, etc.) gave rise to myths and legends that grew into religion, which, in turn, also tried to explain”why this happens”. Then philosophy as a symbiosis of scientific thought and religion. In recent history, there are more and more people who find the necessary answers in science…
But in reality, man cannot claim to be the only animal species on earth that is aware of the finiteness of its life. An example of some animals that feel the approach of death-cats-they go away and hide (there are other examples).
Thanks to scientific knowledge, we found out that even small fish and mice can think and have “decision-making centers” (on this topic, very interesting lectures from neurophysiologist Olga Svarnik are available on YouTube).
Therefore, it does not matter how a person strives to learn the meaning of life, looking for an answer in philosophy, religion, science, curiosity and fear drive them.

  8. Well, that's why with this one.You start to choose two sides of life, and if you change it means you can think and this is a big plus!!!And when you start reading them. The most relevant ones. the desire to bring
to life. then you're really worthy:)

  9. I noticed that in an interview with a well-known non-ballerina, the most common word was “creativity”. Why? Hiscreativity in her life was gone. What's the point? To the “meaningfulness” of incessant questions about the meaning of life.
