It seems to me that you just need to be an erudite, attentive and well-read person in order to understand from which side to approach the situation/person correctly, achieving what you want. Well, read books about psychology, physiognomy, behaviorism, and Sherlock of course.)
I can recommend the book “Mind Reading: examples and exercises – Torsten Gavener”. I had it called ” Mnetalist. Mind reading”. In it, the author, the most famous mentalist in Germany, describes his experience and techniques, exercises. In fact, it requires a lot of observation and a very large amount of training. I was very interested in reading it, but I didn't set out to become a mentalist, so I didn't do any exercises.
