  1. This is often very difficult to do, as the surrounding people may not arouse much interest, and the need for emotional communication remains. However, it is fair to say that “if you are the smartest person in the room — you are in the wrong room”, so the solution may be to expand your social circle. In this case, it is better to look for new people among those who are older, smarter and wiser – you can find them, for example, in various clubs of intellectual games like mafia and chgc.

  2. It seems to me that first you need to understand what loneliness is associated with, its causes, in a particular case. But if you get straight to the point, then you need to try to start a conversation, even online, with a person with interests or common views. If you do not want social contact, then do what you love or find something that you feel confident in, that inspires, share it and find like-minded people. Another good way is to communicate with animals: pets or in the zoo, in the contact zoo. The main thing is to get carried away with something and there will be no time to think about loneliness.

I will not say that loneliness can be pleasant and useful, I am sure that the author of the question does not want this.
