  1. very simple. the jokes we invent are already proof of our absurdity:

in a psychiatric clinic, the doctor asks the patient:

    • last name?

    • Napoleon!

    • ohoho my dear, we have such commanders here a dime a dozen

    • I'm not a warlord, I'm a cake!)

  2. Thomas Nagel deduces the absurdity from the following arguments. We can never justify our existence, because any justification can be questioned. “I live to serve people.” Is this your reason for living? Okay, but what's the point of this? Why do you serve people? There is no justification for this, and even if there is, it can be questioned. The meaning of life is to fulfill God's will? But what is the meaning of God's will and of God himself? Hmm?” Thus, we will never find an objective justification for our lives. When a person realizes this, he begins to understand that only he himself determines the meaning of his life and is responsible for it.
