Constructivism is a theory according to which every cognitive activity is a construction, that is, the creation of a certain structure.
Counter-constructivism asserts that human learning is an active process on the basis of which people create their knowledge based on their own experience.
Constructionism is a learning philosophy developed by Seymour Papert based on constructivism. This philosophy expands the scope of constructivism, stating that people create new things more effectively when they are done with meaning and are useful both for the person and for others.
