    1. I think of God first. I come to the conclusion that it does not exist, so the Devil too.
    2. I think about the pointlessness of my own death, and nothing is done just like that.
    3. And any thoughts about science, me personally, spsayut.
    4. If something or someone wanted to kill me, they wouldn't bully me like they do in horror movies.
    5. And in the end, it all comes down to the fact that fear is meaningless and it will only make things worse.
    6. It also often helps that sleep is more precious than fear.

But if you hear some strange sounds or sensations, then use the flashlight on your phone while you sleep.

  1. Anything that could have killed you would have done it last time. Most likely, all the ghosts have gone howling over the heads of their executioners, not interested in your fate at all. Remember, big brother, chupocabra and maniac thieves have plenty to hunt for.
And I always remember a phrase that a good friend of mine said to me:”You're the one these monsters wouldn't want to meet in a dark room.” If I see something wrong in the dark, this elf will pretty much spoil my psyche, but the stimulus will generally get injuries incompatible with existence. A person on the edge of life is a scary creature, so any danger from the dark has no head start. Agree, having split the offender's skull with a nightstand, it is no longer so offensive to die. + your death will be mysterious and unusual, isn't this happiness for the average resident of the 21st century?

  2. Understand that the links in the chain of your destiny were forged long ago by the great father. And it just doesn't make sense to be afraid of anything. That doesn't mean you can do nothing, of course. A good lock on the door and plans for tomorrow will always come in handy.

  3. Get a cat, and if something bad happens, it's definitely a cat). But seriously, put a proper lock on the door, check it before you go to bed, and sleep well.

  4. For some reason, I remembered the parting words for my mother when she had to practice at the morgue. “Sveta, you should be afraid of the living, not the dead.”

If your fears about something are not material , you need to understand that it simply does not exist, and this is all your imagination. But it's easy to say it all in words, and the brain still draws vivid pictures. I bought small lamps that plug into the socket, and slept with the light on, trying to distract myself before going to bed. I watched comedies, read something funny, talked to friends. In general, I set myself up for a favorable environment. Sometimes people even sat with me on Skype and waited for me to pass out, chatting with me.

Over time, this fear passed, I realized that there was nothing to be afraid of, or it just became a habit.
