  1. Voluntarism is the desire to implement something, without taking into account the possibilities and consequences. The very definition itself shows that the voluntarist is either unable to assess his capabilities and calculate the consequences, or he is driven by such strong desires that obscure the mind. Most often, voluntarists are narrow-minded people. But, very rarely, another option is possible. A person only looks like a voluntary person, but all his actions are carefully calculated, he just knows more than others. In this case, from the point of view of others, he will be very risky, but he will be lucky. If a person's luck changed, then his calculation was not accurate, or his knowledge was not correct.
    Can Herman from the Queen of Spades be considered a voluntarist? I think so.
