Happy people “glow” from the inside, so they attract the attention of others, just like any other light sources.

But not all unhappy people are able to pay close attention to the lucky ones, but only those who want to see them.

Because they're jealous, obviously. They are envious because everyone wants more than they have. If the other person is happier, then they have something that I don't have, and I want it too, whatever it is. If the other person is less happy, then they have even less than me, and I need more, not less. In my opinion, it is quite logical. And here is the question of who lacks what in life, who needs money, who needs communication, and so on endlessly. Some people do not have a comfortable environment, others are uncomfortable when there are beggars and sick people around. And then there is a choice, either to protect yourself from discomfort, or to try to eliminate it by helping these sick and unhappy people (charity). Everyone makes their own choices to the best of their character and needs.
