Do we see ourselves from the outside? I've only seen this in the cinema, I always remember everything “in the first person”, and I see dreams “in the first person. It's a big news story for me right now that someone doesn't have it right.
I can assume that constant observation of yourself from the outside (video, mirror) leads to such a perception. I don't look in mirrors and I don't watch videos with myself, maybe that's why everything is in the first person?…
