    It follows from the above that power can manifest itself at any level between people. Starting with friends and family and ending with work, the state.

    Now it is important to understand what the function of power is. Why it exists and whether people need it. And then the first mistake is that everyone thinks that power is needed for control. But no. Control contradicts the nature of power and is the black side of its application.

    Why do we need power? The function of power to guide and direct. One is the master and the other is the slave. One has authority, knowledge, power, and wisdom… Anything. A certain superiority, having which a person leads another (or others) behind him. This begs the question, why do we need a presenter if we can go somewhere ourselves? But it is the community of interests that is important here. In the family, for example, the husband plays a leading role in matters of earnings and distribution of finances within the family, and the wife performs a managing function in the household. That is, the function of power (direction) in different spheres is not concentrated in one hand, but is distributed among the spouses. It is possible that spouses may change places in management positions.

    Most often, power is represented by a single person-a leader or a narrow group of people with common interests. But it happens that the bearer of power can be a huge mass of people who think and act in a single impulse (direction). However, you need to understand that the more people try to manage some similar processes, the harder it is to coordinate. Not control! Namely, coordination – that is, the distribution and delegation of authority.

    What would happen if the government didn't exist? Then there would be no centers that form a community of interests. Without power, it is impossible to unite people.

    Another question is what the person himself puts into the motives of a particular association. And here we are already talking about the consequences that the corresponding motivational mechanisms lead to.

    For example, a man liked a woman. He wants to be with her. The instrument of his power can be his charisma, intelligence, charm. And a woman will follow such a man. Or it is possible that a man will simply use brute physical force and forcibly take possession of a woman and control her through fear (abuser).

    As they correctly say, there are two types of people who strive for power. The first are those who need power for the sake of power, because power always gives preferences to people who are endowed with it. The latter use power to change the situation, because they consider themselves competent enough to lead people (another person). The first category is usually perverted people who are corrupted by the authorities. And the second category is crazy fanatics who are in love with their business or a particular person.

    Of course, there are people who do not want any power. They may have certain qualities and skills, but they don't use them to combine them. They use them as a current tool at a specific time. Such people are usually aware of the most important component of any power – this is a huge responsibility to those who have been tamed (whom you control and direct).

    Power is the bonding aspect of any association of people. That's why it's so important. But the power vector can be either positive or negative. So power is not evil. Power is the greatest challenge in any person's life. Because it is through power that you lead the other into the abyss or onto a pedestal. And people's assessments of a manager are the most significant, affecting his fate no less than he affects them.
