If you just sit and talk about this topic, then you can not come to any conclusions. But if you go to church and talk to specific people in whose lives God manifests Himself in the most obvious way, especially those who before their meeting with Him confidently walked the path of spiritual and physical degradation, and now they are full – fledged members of society and serve the same lost souls themselves, this will give a serious basis for faith in God, who is alive and
In fact, Nietzsche's famous phrase also referred to the fact that God is not dead in general, but in the churches – and we often see this today.
Every Deity is alive as long as there are believers in him. As the number of believers decreases, the Deity decays and gradually passes into the category of legends. With the death of the last adept of the Faith, it becomes a myth.
There is ONLY ONE theory, it is also an axiom, man evolved from humanoid animals!!! And “Man was created” by “God”, this is a fairy-tale invention, but Man himself, with the help of a developed MIND, to give some kind of peculiarity, exclusivity of Man over other Animals!!! And to create a certain “religious” subculture, for all sorts of human needs: explaining the phenomena of nature to illiterate people, managing people with the help of religion, like a herd, by ancient rulers, creating profitable and honorable jobs for priests, churchmen and priests…
If you are referring to Nietzsche's phrase, then it is a metaphor. God dies in human culture, abandoning God. Compare it to Heidegger's ” oblivion of Being.” If someone renounces God and completely loses the “image of God” given to him and acquires the “image of cattle”, then we can figuratively say that in the soul of this person and for him – “God is dead”.
If we take a theological perspective, then God as the center of life and-life itself-cannot die. This is an oxymoron.
You may ask – does it mean that God is not omnipotent if He CANNOT do something? Not at all. God has succeeded once in history. Become incarnate, become a God-Man, be crucified, and die. But then resurrect. For … see above….
The words “The living God,” are found dozens of times in the Bible (Deuteronomy 5/26) (Joshua 3/10) (1 Samuel 17/26, 36) (4 Samuel 19/4, 16) (Isaiah 37/4, 17) ( Jeremiah 10/10 and 23/36)(Daniel 6/20, 26) (Hosea 1/10) (Matthew 16/16 and 26/63) (John 6/57)– and so on. Do you think that Moses started writing the Bible and all the prophets after him wrote God is alive? God, who gives life and breath to all, how can He not be alive?
Is the Invisible Pink Unicorn or the Flying Macaroni Monster still alive? The category of living or dead does not suit them, as well as God, since these beings were never really there to live and die… Most likely. IMHO. “God died” is more a philosophical category than a living being.
God is eternal and perfect. Our souls are also immortal. Only evil is mortal, which will be destroyed by God when the period of our training on Earth is over.
I believe that the author heard the iconic phrase “God is dead” and didn't quite understand its true meaning.
As you know, these words were written in the book of the German thinker and philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche, in the work “Thus spake Zarathustra”. A very interesting thesis, however, without reading this book or at least reviewing it, you can not immediately evaluate this judgment.
To put it very briefly and in the way I remember it, the whole concept is about the relationship of people to the deity. Nietzsche says that God (the Great and Terrible, the deity himself, the creator of the world, the supreme intelligence!) lived among people and what did they do? They killed him.
That is why, dear friends, God died a long time ago. Literally.
(according to Nietzsche of course)
I am an Orthodox Christian. God is alive, and I see His judgments both in my personal life and in socio-political processes.
As for whether modern man needs God? Yes, now especially as never before. I looked at surveys on the Internet: About suicide – 83% admitted that they thought about it at least once in their life, and >60% answered that they very often have a cause of depression in the corresponding survey. And this is in our jaded age, the age of peace and tranquility, at least in Russia. People have everything: lots of food, clothes, gadgets, games, and friends. But in the end, all this is exhausting and does not calm down. People have a spiritual hunger. People need God more than ever.
And the question needs to be asked in a different way – are people still alive?
As far as I know, Nietzsche's god is dead as a support for all previous worldview constructions. Therefore, Nietzsche thought about what happens if God (on which everything rests) is removed. Hence his concepts of morality in particular.
In general, first you should decide on the concept of god, if we mean the god of any religion, then we should reason on this question very carefully, since there is not one religion, respectively, and there are many opinions.
If we define God by the concept of a higher power that guides a person, then we can assume that God is conscience (in fact, why not?), and then the answer is obvious: yes, he is alive, because conscience is alive.
You can also consider god-the one who surpasses all people in everything, a kind of superman, then the answer cannot be given here, because such a person has not yet been born.
After all, everyone can have their own god, it can be an external phenomenon, as in religion, and maybe internal (conscience, etc.)
And G-d did not die, because He is not a man, but a man can die, and it is terrible to die, just as the author of the phrase Friedrich Nietzsche actually died. It is strange to ask such a question at all, just as it is strange to try to fit G-d into our human concepts.
Gott lebt
God, who is often represented in the form of a living being, really does not exist. Some people just want to see him and pat his divine cheeks and say ,” Well, what are you like, huh?”
Arguments? Yes, they come to mind already in childhood, there is enough of a pinch of Aristotelian logic. I don't believe in such an uncle myself either.
But friends, well, how can you ignore the fact that outstanding people, for example, in the person of Roman emperors who managed to rule the world (this is not a Civilization in your Windows, these are millions of living bodies and working energy), or a worthy number of writers, architects, directors and even modern scientists were (are) believers?
Are fashionable atheists so smart that entire civilizations are left as fools? And the regular atheistic arguments that are usually given in such disputes were generally covered by Plato and his friends about 2500 years ago – it seems that nothing new has been added in our time.
Ah lyububas essence in another!
Here it should be noted that everything around you, and you too, have ideas. For example, the phone is the idea of the developers, you are the idea of your parents, your vegetative system is the idea of nature, and the Moon is the idea of the Earth's gravitational force.
So all there are are ideas. They exist in us and separately from us (well, nature as a mechanism). People are active ideas of the universe, we can put our ideas into practice, or we can leave them just as ideas.
Well, it is clear that God is also a human idea, but rather an idea of ideas. It does not have any model form, but it can serve as a source of any ideas of a person. God is fueled by our instinct – faith in the Highest (awesome thing, really). By the way, this is also Plato's idea, I did not participate here.
So my dear fellow is alive.
“I can't stop suffering, believe in myself, forgive the Nazis or conquer the world by playing the accordion – look, there God lies, go take it and hold on here, all the best to you”
In general, it is not necessary to come to God through a crisis, this is already a cool topic. For example, my God is inside me. What does it mean? I believe in God, so I believe in him and in myself. It is clear that I, as a person, am the idea of my God and his likeness. So am I too:
creator (cool, let's come up with something new),
I have the power (yes, yoo kyung, or “fuck you for God's sake”)
and the goal is beauty (well, thank * osu, at least there is something to live for).
Thus, God is a great, brilliant idea of how you can live and please others.
It's been a long time, hasn't it? well, I can only say that how many people, so many ideas-so often God is used for selfish, ugly purposes-whether it's a children's crusade or the third Orthodox Mercedes of the district priest.
Well, what about the universe, smartass? Where did we all come from, eh? Well, it is obvious that the universe also has its god, its Idea. The trick here is that ideas, despite our indignation, exist without us.
The idea of the universe exists independently, within itself. And if I were the ancient Greeks, I would translate the first line of the Old Testament as “In the beginning was an Idea, and the Idea was God.”
There is a great phrase, if the girl went to another, it is still necessary to argue who is lucky 😀 Is very positive support in a difficult moment, you immediately remember the bad side of this person and how you could put up with it, and now you are free from him or her. You can start all over again with a new person, and this should nourish you to go forward, leave what was behind, yes, it was expensive, but people come and go, and only those who sincerely understand and accept you as you are will not leave 🙂

Every day we hear a million questions from children. How did our world come about? Is God still alive? Why do people fight? And why do I have two dads? And sometimes it can be difficult for parents to explain to their children how everything works.
Host of the show Yulia Varshavskaya believes that the main goal of the program #Yasnoplyuchno is to teach parents to answer their children's most difficult questions in an accessible and interesting way. The answers a child receives shape their personality.
Please specify which God it is.
Kronos? Ale?Huitzilopochtli? Zeus?
And oh, yes – you need to first prove the existence of a God and then argue whether he is alive or not.
You can touch on the topic of God in different ways, talk about him as the creator of everything, or as something higher that gave us life.I like to consider time as God,only it gives life and takes it away, a resource invented by man in order to simplify his life, eventually became something more than everyone thinks and will always think about.
It is enough to look at how wonderfully our world is arranged to see the hand of the Creator in everything. Similarly, we look at the paintings of great artists and admire the work of their hands, who only tried to depict the true beauty of nature, created by God. Looking at paintings, cars, computers, etc., no one will doubt the existence of the people who created it. But people are stupid or crafty. Alas! Seeing all the beauty of the universe, a person says: “There is no Creator! God is dead!”
God is not dead! People died to God because they loved darkness and their sins.
I would like to expand a little on the explanation above that ” God is dead.”
This phrase in the original German version sounds like “Gott ist tot”, “God is dead”, which removes the ambiguity of the phrase in its translation in Russian.
To begin with, I want to give an example. Max Weber noticed that in Germany (where there were both Catholic and Protestant lands), Protestant regions developed most dynamically. The same trend applies to Protestant countries such as England, Holland and their North American colonies (because it is still too early to talk about Great Britain, the Netherlands and the United States). Thus, he introduces the concept of Protestant work ethics, since Protestants considered personal wealth (along with asceticism) as an indicator of righteousness and evidence of a well-fulfilled “duty” to God. Thus, in this example, we can see how a change in the religious system affects society and determines its development. The same is true for the entire history of the world, when human society was largely determined by the dominant religion and religious institutions.
Nietzsche's saying “God is dead” implies that in the modern world, in the world of nihilism, humanity must turn to morality, since the existing religious institutions can no longer provide a system that will allow society to rely on it, and the old system has lost its relevance. And here Nietzsche points not so much to the crisis of religion, but rather to the crisis of society, of which religion is an integral part. Thus, it is necessary to rethink all those values and identify the deeper layers of human morality on which Christianity was once based.
At the same time, Nietzsche did not claim that his words are absolutely true, but argued that a person can never be sure that what he said is true. Thus, it leaves room for” perspectivism”, when each person must seek for himself the standard of morality and morality that he needs in order to forge his own destiny and happiness.
