With such a level of technological and scientific progress, turning the planet into a “garbage can” overgrown with fungi from nuclear tests, promoting the destruction of morals and morality in favor of the thirst for profit and power at any cost, replacing family values with LGBT people, speaks about the process of losing rational thinking…..somehow everything is not logical, a paradox.
5 years pass, a generation of future geniuses merges some protest and sacrifices their ideals for the sake of the next petty-bourgeois values. This was the case in the “noughties”: as a result, we lost the opposition in parliament and opposition TV. So it was in the middle of the “tenth”: now the remnants of the opposition are finished off, VKontakte has been expropriated from Pavel Durov, people are jailed for reposts in social networks, and the annexation of a peninsula there, the Donbass and Syria has caused a powerful patriotic surge in society. Most likely, this will be the case in the early 20s; it is only unknown what (and, in particular, what platform for discussions)will be used. we'll lose this time.
* Women's beauty and sex appeal. It is amazing how in the era of winning (if not already winning in the Western world) feminism and advanced contraception, men selflessly indulge female commercialism and play by the rules that were relevant 200 years ago, when women did not have modern opportunities for self-realization.
Men don't even require women to split their restaurant bills. Men delight in corrupting women, making them indulgences, presenting them with gifts and bragging about it-from the iPhone (always the latest model, the highest chic — with the maximum amount of memory) to their own business.
Women have learned to manipulate men without attracting the attention of the paramedics, and are only too happy to play their game in bed and in the kitchen, pouring the last of their blood into their own bodies.
Women give up their careers and are convinced that a man should be cooler than her, even if she is the top, and men are happy to feel like an alpha male and a leader who has power.

And the actual concept of self-development is flawed and miserable to the point of impossibility, because it does not teach a person to be an adult, but creates an illusion.
* Wealth. No amount of money will make you happier until you learn how to invest more money and start investing in personal cultural education.
Buxom women, expensive cars, personal yachts and planes, access to the best clinics in the world, luxury apartments… — it doesn't help if you confuse Monet and Manet and think Bosch is a home appliance manufacturer.
Therefore, patronage is well developed abroad (although there are also nouveau riches there), but in Russia these traditions have gone along with the monarchy and will not take root in any way.
In my opinion, the belief that technological progress will change a person and relationships in society for the better — wars will stop and people will become negotiable.
The experience of millennia does not confirm this. The 10 commandments and the 7 deadly sins are still relevant. All gadgets and strays that promote communication do not eliminate the contradiction.
A person has become at the head of the food chain because he has learned to kill from a distance and not only when hungry. Today, you can kill at any distance, but that doesn't change anything.
Professional sports. Sooner or later, people will come to the conclusion that it is not worth spending your life trying to run the fastest in the world or jump above last year's champion.
Sports for health and pleasure, of course, will always be there and, I hope, will become even more popular.
Freedom in its most common modern sense. Unfortunately, I will not be able to fully express my point of view in the way I want it to be expressed.
