The philosophy of contemporary art includes a large number of sources: phenomenology, hermeneutics, critical theory, postmodern criticism of culture, various types of new metaphysics, and the philosophy of language and consciousness. But the common denominator for such different philosophical programs is the idea of the life world or the world of phenomena as a source of creativity. Art exists not as an interpretation or reflection of the world, but as a moment in which the world or meaning comes true. Creativity appears not as a quality or interest of the subject, but as a key manifestation of the world or being in which both the subject and the object exist. Since nature already has the possibility of manifesting itself or expressing itself, art is understood as something super-manifest, super-pathetic, overcoming itself. Art then differs from thinking only in its momentary character, in that it already exists in being as being. To describe these effects of art, the apparatus of psychoanalysis, psychotherapy, performative theory, as well as old metaphysics or mysticism can be used.

In general, contemporary art exists independently and any conceptualization of art is legitimate only to enrich the understanding of art. In specific works, contemporary art answers the question ” what is art?” and it does not limit itself either in theories or in methods of solving this issue.

Contemporary art has many directions. It is impossible to give an exact answer, because we simply have no right to generalize the ideas, ideas, and symbolism of different” paths ” of mysterious and ambiguous contemporary art.
