Em. The fact is that even parties from different countries that are formally assigned to the same “field” may differ on certain issues.
For example, take our beloved Communist Party. From the point of view of the European and American left, as I understand it, it is “right” in many positions, primarily concerning family policy (the issue of gay rights, abortion) – for example, the result of the vote on an attempt to remove abortion from the compulsory health insurance system.
Update: Since the link was not inserted, I will say this – out of 11 people who voted “YES”, more than half are from the Communist Party. The law on punishment for “coming out” was developed by the Communist Party of the Russian Federation. At the same time, the party's economic program is left – wing, social-democratic (end of update).
And, accordingly, the opposite is true – the Republican Party of the United States is considered more conservative and more often stands for traditional family values. This makes them similar to our “patriotic” camp, while Republicans are in favor of minimizing state interference in the economy, which in Russian reality applies more to “liberals”.
So, with a few exceptions, there won't be many multinational countries. Well, except for some “Great Caliphate” (if you allow a conditional “Party of Islamists” to divide).
Hell would be 😉
Nevertheless, I hope that with the development of the information society and the gradual leveling of the influence of origin on later life, people will eventually come to share according to the basic values of life, freedoms and aspirations;) Such as scientists and researchers – one country, liberal hedonists – another, rabid religious fanatics (ISIS, banner – bearers, etc.) – a third, etc.
I think that in this case, an active clarification and very fine differentiation of the political views of the world's population would begin. And as a result, the number of countries would be approximately equal to the number of people on Earth. And these countries would constantly gather in some kind of confederations and unions, which would immediately break up. However, we are now seeing all this in social networks.
