We still don't know if the universe has limits or if it's infinite. No ge telescope can look that far.If there are limits, then it is logical to assume that when it reaches them, it will either stop or start to shrink. There are suggestions that there are still edges, and there are innumerable other parallel universes outside of our universe. This would mean that our universe is only one of many in the multiverse.
